Located in the heart of Reno’s vibrant festival district, Glow Plaza needed shade relief from Nevada’s hot summer sun. The installation of GALE Pacific’s Commercial NinetyFive fabric provided shade to 70% of the plaza while simultaneously adding a dramatic, sculptural element to the space. The colorful, artistic design makes the plaza more visually engaging while offering much-needed rest from the heat, turning it into a comfortable gathering spot for visitors.

Adelsheim Vineyard sought to extend its outdoor tasting room’s capacity and provide year-round protection from the elements. The solution was a multi-layered canopy system, featuring a permanent shade structure over the upper patio and a seasonal sail structure for the lower patio. The use of GALE Pacific’s Commercial NinetyFive fabric enabled the creation of a flexible, elegant design that blends modern functionality with classic architecture. This project not only extends the winery’s season but also offers guests comfortable seating areas, rain or shine.

The Overlook Club Patio, Gary Farrell Winery – Healdsburg, CA

At Gary Farrell Winery, the "Fishtail" shade sail for the Overlook Club Patio was designed to seamlessly integrate both form and function. Using GALE Pacific’s Commercial DualShade 350 in the color GoldRush, the structure not only provided shade but also brought a bold, artistic flair to the winery’s scenic mountainside patio. Supported by a robust steel structure, the shade structure surpassed expectations in both aesthetics and engineering, enhancing the overall experience for guests while protecting them from the sun.

CSM Martin R. "Gunny" Barreras Memorial Park – Tucson, AZ

Spanning an impressive 78’ x 60’, with a 16’ entryway, this memorial park required a robust shade solution that could withstand Tucson's harsh desert climate. GALE Pacific's Commercial Heavy 430 fabric provided the necessary durability and weather resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. Not only does this structure serve to protect visitors from the sun, but it also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the park, creating a more enjoyable environment for the community.
